The big big sky has spread its big big black wings,
They have enveloped us in its tight night embrace.
The star angels stand around Her Serene Majesty in guarding rings,
While she beams upon the world in her silver grace.
I stand on the balcony, letting the wind caress me.
I stand on the balcony, letting the moonlight seep through me.
I stand in the balcony, letting the silence calm me.
I stand on the balcony, letting the unknown be known to me.

Then I see her,
I see her clear as daylight.
I see her loose hair caressed by the wind,
The wind that then comes to caress me.
Is it her I feel in the wind?
I see her,
I see her dancing in the moonlight,
Playing with slivers of moonbeam,
That fall at her feet,
Is it her that I feel in the moonlight seeping into me?
And then she is gone.
She is gone with the moon and her beam,
Leaving the world in darkness,
Leaving me in darkness,
Leaving me in deep yearning,
And I wait, till she comes when moonlight comes back again.
